Publication Ethics
Journal Cakrawala KABASENA : Kajian Bahasa, Sastra, Seni dan Budaya is committed to upholding ethical standards in scientific publication to ensure the quality, integrity, and credibility of every published article. This publication ethics statement follows the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies to all parties involved in the publishing process, including editors, reviewers, and authors.
- Editorial Ethics
Editors are responsible for:
• Determining the suitability of manuscripts based on scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope
• Ensuring a fair, objective, and non-discriminatory editorial process
• Maintaining the confidentiality of manuscript information and author identities during the review process
• Avoiding conflicts of interest in editorial decision-making
• Taking appropriate action in response to suspected ethical violations, such as plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or manipulation
- Reviewer Ethics
Reviewers are obliged to:
• Conduct objective, professional, and constructive evaluations of manuscripts
• Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts reviewed and not misuse the information obtained
• Avoid conflicts of interest and report any potential conflicts to the editor
• Provide clear, relevant, and timely feedback to help improve the quality of manuscripts
- Author Ethics
Authors are responsible for:
• Presenting original and plagiarism-free scientific work
• Not submitting the same manuscript simultaneously to other journals
• Providing accurate citations and references in accordance with academic standards
• Clearly stating the contribution of each author
• Disclosing funding sources and potential conflicts of interest, if any
• Willingness to revise the manuscript based on feedback from reviewers and editors
- Originality and Plagiarism
Journal Cakrawala KABASENA : Kajian Bahasa, Sastra, Seni dan Budaya only accepts original manuscripts. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism screening process using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, data falsification, or other ethical misconduct will be rejected or retracted.
- Conflict of Interest
All parties involved in the publication process are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the objectivity, integrity, or interpretation of the manuscript.
- Article Retraction and Correction
Journal Cakrawala KABASENA : Kajian Bahasa, Sastra, Seni dan Budaya reserves the right to issue corrections, clarifications, or retractions of published articles if significant errors or ethical violations are identified after publication, in accordance with COPE guidelines.
