Article Retraction & Withdrawal

JEIP: Journal of Educational Innovation and Practice is committed to maintaining the integrity and credibility of its scientific publications. Therefore, this journal implements an article withdrawal and retraction policy in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

1. Article Withdrawal
An article can be withdrawn before the article is officially published (while still in the review or production stage) under the following conditions:
• The author submits a written withdrawal request to the editor with clear and justifiable reasons.
• The article is suspected of being submitted simultaneously to another journal (simultaneous submission).
• Substantial errors in the data or methodology are discovered before publication.
The editor reserves the right to approve or reject an article withdrawal request based on editorial evaluation.

2. Article Retraction
An article is retracted after publication if serious violations are discovered, including:
• Plagiarism, duplicate publication, or copyright infringement
• Falsification, fabrication, or manipulation of research data
• Serious errors that affect the validity and reliability of research results
• Violations of research or publication ethics
Retracted articles will remain available on the journal website with the status "Retracted," accompanied by an official explanation of the reasons for the retraction to maintain academic transparency.

3. Corrections and Clarifications
If the error is minor and does not affect the scientific substance of the article, JEIP may publish a correction or clarification without retracting the article.

4. Responsibility and Transparency
The decision to retract or retract an article is at the editor's discretion based on reviewer recommendations and considerations of publication ethics. The entire process is conducted transparently and professionally to maintain the trust of authors, readers, and the academic community.
