Publication Ethics
JEIP: Journal of Educational Innovation and Practice is committed to upholding ethical standards for scientific publications to ensure the quality, integrity, and credibility of every published article. This publication ethics statement adheres to the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies to all parties involved in the publishing process, including editors, reviewers, and authors.
1. Editorial Ethics
Editors are responsible for:
• Determining the suitability of manuscripts based on their scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the journal's focus and scope
• Ensuring a fair, objective, and discrimination-free editorial process
• Maintaining the confidentiality of manuscript information and author identities during the review process
• Avoiding conflicts of interest in editorial decision-making
• Following up on suspected violations of publication ethics, such as plagiarism, duplication of publication, or data manipulation
2. Reviewer Ethics
Reviewers are obliged to:
• Conduct objective, professional, and constructive assessments of manuscripts reviewed
• Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts reviewed and not misuse the information obtained
• Avoid conflicts of interest and report any conflicts of interest to the editor
• Provide clear and timely feedback to help improve the quality of manuscripts
3. Author Ethics
Authors are responsible for:
• Presenting original, plagiarism-free scientific work
• Not submitting manuscripts simultaneously to the journal Others
• Include citations and references appropriately in accordance with scientific principles
• State the contributions of each author clearly and responsibly
• Disclosing funding sources and potential conflicts of interest, if any
• Willingness to make revisions based on feedback from reviewers and editors
4. Originality and Plagiarism
JEIP only accepts original manuscripts. All manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism check using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, data falsification, or other ethical violations will be rejected or retracted.
5. Conflict of Interest
All parties involved in the publication process are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest that could affect the objectivity of the manuscript's assessment and publication.
6. Article Retraction and Correction
JEIP reserves the right to make corrections, clarifications, or retraction of articles if substantial errors or violations of publication ethics are discovered after the article is published, in accordance with COPE guidelines.
