The family is the primary environment influencing a child’s psychological development. The quality of the
emotional relationship between parents and children, particularly in the form of attachment, affects emotional
regulation and social behavior. This study aims to analyze the relationship between parent–child attachment and
children’s psychological well-being, as well as its implications for aggressive behavior in adolescents from an
educational psychology perspective. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method.
Data were collected from relevant scientific sources, including books and journal articles, and analyzed
descriptively. The findings indicate that secure attachment contributes to emotional stability, enhances self
confidence, and supports adaptive emotional regulation. In contrast, insecure attachment is associated with
emotional instability, difficulties in impulse control, and a higher risk of aggressive behavior in adolescents. In
addition, social and school environments also influence children’s psychological conditions. Therefore, strong
emotional relationships within the family, supported by a conducive educational environment, are essential for
maintaining children’s psychological well-being.
