Education is a fundamental aspect of human life that not only serves as a means of knowledge transfer, but also plays a role in the formation of character and the psychological development of individuals. Along with the rapid changes in education in the modern era marked by technological developments, increasing academic demands, and complex social dynamics, students are faced with various challenges that have the potential to affect their mental health and psychological well-being. Students who are in the emerging adulthood phase have a higher susceptibility to psychological problems, such as stress, anxiety, and depression. Various studies show that the prevalence of mental health disorders in students is quite significant, both at the global and national levels, with causative factors including academic burden, future uncertainty, financial problems, lack of social support, and changes in technology-based learning systems. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method through the analysis of various relevant literature sources. The results of the study show that student mental health is an important issue that has an impact on academic success and the quality of life of students. Therefore, comprehensive efforts are needed from various parties, including Mental health, Students, Psychological well-being, Educational changes, Academic stress.educational institutions, in providing counseling services, improving mental health literacy, and creating a supportive academic environment to support the psychological well-being of students.
